So beginnt das großartige Endzeit-RPG Fallout. Und was den Charme von Fallout ausmacht, hat Vitaly Alexius geradezu wunderbar in seinem Web-Comic eingefangen. Romantically Apocalyptic erzählt die Geschichte von Captain und seinem Engineer, der in der Welt nach der Apocalypse lebt. Abgesehen von dem Setting, das allein schon sehr spannend ist, bietet Romantically Apocalyptic vor allem toll gezeichnete Bilder. Teilweise sieht man den Bildern auch an, dass sie an echten Photos orientiert sind.

OK, der Comic hat mich echt umgehauen ("Better dig your heels in." "Why? What?" "...Blastwave." Very Happy

). Schade, daß es bislang so wenig Episoden (36 oder so) sind, das ist schon ziemlich geil.

No Captain making whoop-ing noises at me.
Maybe I'll fly away, far away from the city, find some non-insane survivors...

That can't be right... the corporations were dumping toxic wastes in here for years.
I remember reports about most large fish becoming extinct.

Living inside a giant whale isn't as grand as I often pretended it was.
Lots of scavenging had to be done.
Yet I was proud of myself, I was a survivor, I was capable of anything.

One day UPS was at my door. I know not how or why.
Perhaps I've started to imagine things from loneliness?

How did Pilot get this pale-skinned old man to deliver a package to me?

As the strange old man left I started to wonder... what is the postal code inside the whale?

Langsam ergibt das ganze einen Sinn, Mr. Snippy war scheinbar Touristenführer in der "Zone" die übrigens 99,9% der Erdoberfläche ausmacht (also nicht wie bei S.T.A.L.K.E.R. und dem realen Tschernobyl wo es wirklich nur ne begrenzte Endzeitzone gibt) denke das sich hier der Rest der Menschheit auch noch den Rest gegeben hat...
